Participating in the 24HourProject mission on Sep 9, 2023 was a truly fulfilling adventure. I was drawn into this campaign because it involved photographers from all corners of the world, coming together to embark on a 24-hour journey through their own cities, capturing the essence and beauty of their respective cultures. The task was to diligently document the city we live in and post a picture on Instagram every hour, which added an extra layer of excitement to the experience. The photo walk documenting started at 12 am on Saturday, the 9th of September, and ended at 12 am on Sunday, the 10th of September 2023. Throughout this journey, I not only had a blast but also had the opportunity to learn new and intriguing aspects of the culture.
The underlying idea behind this photo walk was not only to capture the beauty of our surroundings but also to contribute to a noble cause by raising funds and awareness for NGOs. In the case of this year's event, the selected NGO was Cameras for Girls. It was truly heartwarming to learn that, by the end of our 24-hour journey, the campaign had successfully achieved its fundraising goal. It added an even more meaningful dimension to the adventure, knowing that we made a positive impact on the lives of others through our photography and dedication.
I am sharing some of the captivating photos I captured during the 24-hour walk through the beautiful city of Montreal in Canada.
